No Fungus No Tree – First Stage Development is an exploration of symbiosis and symbiotic relationships. This contemporary dance/theatre work was choreographed and performed by the inspiring duo of Sean Marcs and Anna Healey. The project was supported by Marrickville Council.

I have had the pleasure to follow and shoot both dancers for over six years a wonderful journey in time and pictures. Filming dance was the natural progression and addition to dance stills. To add film also allows for discussions of works to be documented in an intimate and engaging way, which I have enjoyed. This piece was edited as a promotional piece of No Fungus No Tree for funding applications for future dvelopments of the peice.
